Carlos Polo Samaniego is the Director of the Latin American Office of the Population Research Institute.

​He is a social anthropologist and a promoter of the use of citizen participation tools. He has taught more than 90 courses in 18 countries training more than 3000 activists.

​He serves on a few different boards promoting the dignity and rights of the person and the family, and the value of life.
